Whole, shelled seeds without the addition of oil, fat, salt, or sugar. Sweet and nutty, sunflower seeds are an excellent source of essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals. They can be added to your salads and baked goods, or plainly roasted with a little salt. Sunflower seeds are a good source of magnesium, which helps to lower high blood pressure and prevent migraine headaches.
