We work with over 90 Ontario producers, including over a dozen local Aylmer farmers who provide a significant amount of our amazing local produce offering year-round. This connection with amazing Ontario farmers and their land has helped us stay closer to a truly Ontario seasonal produce cycle, while supporting local producers and sustainable farming practices. 

Each week we launch new local produce products based on the local crops. All new items can always be found the Featured section. You can always learn more about each local producer on our Producers page.

How It Works:

1. Every local season begins with us having our annual seed meeting with our amazing local farm connections. During this meeting we chat with farmers to discuss the previous year, the season ahead, the crops customers are after, and more! This helps them better understand what to grow, how best to grow it, timelines for harvest and other noteworthy info.
2. We then discuss the status of all of their crops person-to-person each week. They notify us when new crops are ready and we transport what is ready for that week, every week. We also often bring compost to them to refeed the land or their livestock, thus further incorporating the idea of a fully circular food system.
