This zero-waste packaged, low-maintenance blend of perennials and reseeding annual wildflowers provides forage for honey bees, native bees, bumblebees, and other pollinators all season long. These seeds are a great value for anyone who wants to plant a large area (each jar can seed up to 200sq ft), or to store seed for next year (see below for storage instructions). Use: Natural plantings for beds and field areas. We've also had success planting in large pots. How to Plant: Prepare weed-free bed or container. Sprinkle mixture evenly over area. Lightly rake and gently tamp into soil. Seed should be no deeper than 1/8". Keep area moist to aid germination. Plant in late spring after last frost, early summer, or fall (fall seeding can be very successful, especially on dry soils). Light/soil requirements: Sun in average, well-drained soil. Seeding rate: Jar sows up to a 200sq foot area. Seeds can be stored in a tightly sealed jar in the fridge for next year (**make sure seeds are very dry prior to storage!).
