Using cilantro to flavor food may encourage people to use less salt and reduce their sodium intake. Cilantro is a good source of antioxidants.
Cilantro is also known as Chinese Parsley or Coriander, and is virtually used in every cuisine around the world. The leaves of Cilantro have small serrated edges that extend off a single stem. Cilantro's flavor can be described as a combination of parsley and citrus-like notes.
Your cilantro will arrive cooler conditioned - which requires you to store it at the front of your fridge (the back of the fridge often runs close to freezing temperatures when the compressor turns on - this will quickly frost damage your living greens)*. However, if you would like to keep your living herbs on your counter as Slegers suggests, and potentially have them grow further, you may slowly condition them back to room temperature by moving them to your cantina/ cold room (10-14 C) immediately upon receiving them for 24-48 hours. After they have acclimatized to this temperature, you may move them to a room temperature area.
*Our living greens are cooler conditioned in order to slow their growth at the perfect size for consumption.

Once acclimatized to room temperature, "Keep herbs out of the fridge. Continue to grow the herbs by storing on your countertop with the bag off. We recommend consuming the larger leaves within a few days of purchase to enjoy them at their ultimate nutritional benefit and freshness. Provide sunlight and water as needed. Store on a saucer and add water to the saucer, draining excess water after 10 mins. Add water again when soil is dry to touch".
