Triple Cord Community Shared Agriculture
Sun setting over Triple Cord Farm on one of our late summer Friday night pickups.
Here's a link to the original article in the London Free Press detailing the CSA program we joined with Mervin and Norma Miller's farm in Aylmer. Now that summer is over, we are pleased to report that the CSA pilot program this year was a great success, with folks all around London enjoying shares of fresh, local and organic produce all season long. We personally loved the tasty mixed greens and strawberries of May and June, and the fresh corn and sugar baby watermelons that found their way into the late summer boxes. We know it was sometimes challenging to plan menus around the boxes, with the sometimes-strange fruits and veggies . . . and ALL THAT KALE! (Although really, can you ever have too much kale?? Kale chips, anyone?) We hope you had as much fun as we did! Thanks to all who participated, your support helps ensure that local small-scale agriculture continues to flourish.
Stay tuned for more info on CSA programs, and interviews with folks who participated this year!
