Arva Mills, Whole Wheat Hard Flour - 5.5lb
This flour is made from the entire kernel of Arva's best Ontario hard wheat and is thus higher in dietary fiber and overall nutrient content than white flours. It is often mixed with unbleached hard white bread flour when making yeast breads, to avoid the “heaviness” effect. Whole wheat flour is a good source of calcium, iron and fiber.
Arva has been continuosly operating for nearly 200 years, and it's present mill rollers are over 100 years old. That's a lot of time to perfect the art of milling, which shows in the quality of their flours.
