On the Move Organics, McIntosh Farm's Chinese 5 Spice Duck Breast - Serves 4
Asian inspired marinated local duck breast. Suggested serving with The Root Cellar captain bowl for a special dinner for two!
Thaw overnight in fridge.
Take out of package, place on plate and leave at room temperature 15 minutes before grilling.
Preheat grill to 350 f.
Set the duck breasts skin side down on the hot side of the grill. Keep the cover open, and have a spray bottle of water ready if there are flare ups. Grill the skin side until the skin is nice and crispy, about 6 to 8 minutes.
Turn the duck over and grill on the meat side until they're nicely browned, about 3-4 minutes on a hot grill for medium rare.
Let rest for 10 minutes and slice.
Ingredients: McIntosh Farms duck breast, Chinese 5 spice marinade(hot sauce, cinnamon, cloves, star anise, fennel seeds)
